We imagine a world where progress is not waiting on people.

Today, the speed of progress on almost every hard problem is set by the number of humans paying attention to it. The number of researchers with the right background. The number of evenings someone is willing to spend on a hard derivation. The number of postdocs working on a question.

That is a small number compared to the size of the problem. It does not need to stay that way.

We can imagine a different world. A world where every hard problem with a clear way to measure success has thousands of research loops running on it, day and night, on every continent. Each loop generates ideas. Each idea gets checked. Most ideas are wrong. A few are right. The right ones get kept. The cycle starts again. The problems we care about get answered faster than we thought possible.

This is the world we are building toward.

Our singular focus is doing good, paradigm-shifting research. We are not trying to commercialize right now. But the work will unlock enormous value in enterprise operations, robotics, quantitative trading, scientific discovery, drug development, materials, hardware and chip design, energy and grid systems, logistics, and far beyond. Anywhere a problem can be written in code, and an outcome can be measured, a loop can run on it.

How we think about it

We are not focused on one technical idea or one vertical. We are taking a long view. We are pursuing radical new approaches. We have the resources and the will to do so.
